In order to take this idea forward, we offer a range of services and training:

We undertake the complete installation and commissioning of oil extraction facilities. Our facilities range from 50 kg/hr to 1000 kg/hr. The package includes an oil extractor and a seed decorticator / hammer mill, both coupled with suitable engines and oil filter units. We also offer to train the operators on best practices.

Seed decorticating facility:

Our decorticators are capable of shelling up to 300 kgs of Pongamia seeds per hour. They are also adaptable to other seed varieties.

Power generation:Village Electrification

Diesel generators are used to generate electricity by directly using straight vegetable oils (SVOs), with a special focus on non-edible seed oils from trees. These oils can also be used in other machines such as mechanical water pumps.

Straight vegetable oils (Biofuels):

Apart from growing, producing and supplying oil in large quantities ourselves, we also undertake to form the connecting link between other oil producers and the users. These oils have several uses (both industrial and domestic) and are excellent venues for aspiring entrepreneurs to look at.

Seed cake:

Seed cakes have been traditionally used either as animal feed for the edible variety or as organic fertilisers if they are non-edible. They are perfectly environmentally friendly and contribute in a big way towards reducing pollution in many ways.

Quality Saplings:

Since most oil bearing trees grown in the wild, there are several variations to each species. Not all trees are high yielding and therefore just picking up any seed and planting it may not result in sufficient yield. It is therefore important to ensure that the mother plant was a high yielder. Our experts at STPL produce quality grafted saplings in our nurseries which can then be simply transplanted in the desired areas thereby ensuring that the plants are indeed value for money.

Plantations:

With over a decade of experience with oil bearing plants all over the country, we are also in a good position to advice you on the right species to choose and how to maintain the plantations. In fact, we do one better than that and undertake to set up the entire plantations for you and look after it for a pre-defined period of time.

Irrigation and water harvesting:

Finding water resources and ways to prevent the rainwater from simply flowing away into the sea, is another area where we have considerable amounts of experience and expertise.

Dryers:

Our dryers are biomass based and can be used to safely and effectively dry perishables in order to increase their shelf life and make the producer less dependent on middle men.

Vegetable seed packs:

For people with a small plot of land such as a kitchen garden, buying seeds in small quantities is a big hassle. We therefore package and sell mixed packs of high quality seeds that will ensure you have a supply of fresh vegetables in your backyard.
